E-Waste Management

In alignment with our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable campus practices, the College has implemented a robust E-Waste Management System. This initiative prioritizes the frequent repair and recycling of computer hardware, with departments actively utilizing overhauled peripherals to extend technology lifecycles.
To ensure a circular economy, unusable hardware is processed through strategic buy-back policies, facilitating the acquisition of upgraded equipment. Currently, the institution generates approximately 22 kg of electronic waste annually. This waste is systematically collected every three months and entrusted to our authorized vendor, Vital Waste, for ethical disposal.
A dedicated collection bin is available on campus to sensitize the community, encouraging students and faculty to dispose of personal electronic waste responsibly. Through meticulous record-keeping and a culture of proactive maintenance, we strive to minimize our digital footprint while fostering environmental consciousness and accountability among all stakeholders.
