Report on NSS Interactive Session with CRY

The NSS Unit of Loreto College organized an interactive session with Ms. Puja Marwaha, CEO of CRY (Child Rights and You), and Ms. Neha Rungta, the founder of Kopaai Paar, on 18th December, 2025. The session was moderated by Dr. Subhasree Basu, Programme Officer, N.S.S Unit, Loreto College. The event titled “Seeing Young People: Agency, Perception and the Inner World” aimed at identifying the challenges that young people face in a volatile and demanding world. The speakers engaged with several pressing issues, including mental health, societal and family pressures, gender discrimination, caste discrimination, and the challenges faced by children from disadvantaged communities. Through real-life examples from their work in the social sector, the speakers highlighted the urgent need for shared responsibility and youth involvement in promoting social justice. The session ended with an activity where students visualized their future selves and considered the role they could play in creating positive social change.
