The NSS Unit of Loreto College took part in the Little Sisters of the Poor Carnival at St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged on 7 December 2025. The Unit ran a ping-pong games stall from 1 PM to 4 PM, working together with AICUF to create a lively and engaging space for visitors. The event was filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and joyful interactions with the residents and attendees.
NSS volunteers were key in organizing the stall. They managed the flow of the games, kept order, and handled rewards and collections efficiently. Their hard work made the stall run smoothly and helped make it popular. The stall raised a good amount of funds, which went directly to support the welfare initiatives of the home.
In addition to fundraising, the event gave students valuable experience in community service and social outreach. This activity supports NAAC goals by encouraging student participation, community involvement, social responsibility, and hands-on learning. Such efforts show the institution’s commitment to well-rounded education and serving society.
