Echoes of Eternity

Introduction
The B.Ed. Alumnae Reunion titled “Echoes of Eternity” was organised by the Sem-1 and Sem-3 students of the Department of B.Ed. to celebrate the lasting bond between the institution, its faculty, and former students. The event was held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Rooms 410 and 405 and provided an opportunity for alumnae to reconnect, reflect on shared experiences, and revisit their journey as educators.

Programme Overview
The programme commenced with a welcome and introduction, followed by the lighting of the lamp and a prayer service, setting a meaningful tone for the gathering. The inaugural speeches highlighted the significance of the teaching profession and the enduring relationship between the institution and its alumnae. The flow of events included cultural performances, games, cake cutting, distribution of gifts, a fashion walk, distribution of food packets, and concluded with a vote of thanks.

Key Highlights
A major highlight of the event was the cultural performance titled “The Seasons of Learning” (Folk Fusion), which creatively depicted the journey of a teacher through different stages of life. Using seasonal transitions and folk rhythms, the performance represented the enthusiasm of a B.Ed. trainee, the challenges of mid-career teaching, and the grace of experienced educators. The performance concluded with all seasons coming together on stage, symbolising the cyclical and continuous nature of a teacher’s journey, with professors joining in the singing. Another engaging segment was the game “Passing the Past,” where a teddy bear was passed among teachers and alumnae while music played. When the music stopped, the participant holding the teddy picked a chit and responded to a question or performed a fun dare, creating moments of interaction, laughter, and shared memories.
The fashion walk was designed as more than a runway show—it became a character walk where participants stepped into roles inspired by history, literature, and society, reimagined through a contemporary cinematic lens. Through thoughtful costumes, expressive movement, and confident body language, each participant brought a unique personality to life, turning fashion into a form of storytelling. The use of golden and white lights as moving spotlights added depth and drama, while background music and narration enhanced the emotional impact, transforming the ramp into a vibrant space where fashion, emotion, and identity seamlessly came together.

Conclusion
The B.Ed. Alumnae Reunion, “Echoes of Eternity,” was a successful and memorable event that strengthened connections between the institution and its alumnae. It celebrated the shared legacy of teaching and learning and concluded on a positive and meaningful note.
