ABOUT

The Building Committee at Loreto College plays a key role in overseeing the planning, development, and enhancement of campus facilities. The committee works to ensure that all physical infrastructure aligns with the college’s academic mission, accommodate future growth, and provide a safe, accessible, and sustainable environment. The committee coordinates with the Administration to ensure facility projects are planned and executed in alignment with the college's strategic direction.

FUNCTIONS

The committee recommends priorities for new construction, renovations, and space reallocation in alignment with the college’s strategic goals. It reviews and advises on major building projects and renovation plans, while also supporting efforts to ensure campus buildings remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The committee advocates for improvements that enhance both environmental sustainability and operational efficiency. Additionally, it maintains clear records of its activities, recommendations, and project outcomes, and actively seeks input from faculty, staff, and students where appropriate.
