In line with NAAC guidelines and the transformative vision of NEP 2020, the Strategic Planning Committee at Loreto College serves as the architect for holistic and multidisciplinary institutional development. Its core responsibility involves crafting a dynamic strategic plan that aligns with national priorities, fosters quality enhancement, and promotes outcome-based education (OBE) tailored to the specific context and strengths of Loreto College.
This committee rigorously undertakes situational analyses, including SWOC analysis, to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth unique to Loreto College. It then defines Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that reflect the institution's commitment to academic flexibility, robust research and innovation, skill development, equity, inclusivity, and meaningful societal engagement, all as emphasized by NEP 2020.
Crucially, the committee supervises the implementation of these strategic initiatives, monitors progress against defined outcomes, and conducts periodic reviews to ensure Loreto College's adaptability to evolving educational landscapes and policy shifts. By actively engaging diverse stakeholders - including its dedicated faculty, students, esteemed alumni, parents, relevant industry experts, and college management - the Strategic Planning Committee at Loreto College fosters a truly collaborative, transparent, and forward-thinking environment.
