NSS Day visit to Seba Old Age Home

On 24th September 2025, the N.S.S Unit of Loreto College, Kolkata celebrated N.S.S Day by visiting Seba Old Age Home in Madurdah, Purbayan Abasan, Kolkata. A week long bed sheet collection drive had been conducted at the college in which students and staff enthusiastically participated. The unit donated 60 new single bedsheets to the inmates and also facilitated the donation of a water purifier to the Home. The volunteers spent time interacting with the elderly, listening to their stories, and sharing joyful moments. The visit was a heartwarming experience, especially with the festive season approaching. This initiative could be carried out despite inclement weather and severe waterlogging showcasing the dedication, commitment and the spirit of selfless service that the unit promotes.
